The Bible says in Mark 11:24 “All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye have received them, and ye shall receive them.” You must believe like you have already received your request. Belief is the currency for which you make payment. Again, your payment is belief.
The first step in obtaining what your heart desires is to choose a goal, dream or miracle (or whatever you want to call it). Then give it your full attention. You must then make it your intention to create it. Intention makes your desire a commitment. Intention is power.
Next you must gain the support of your subconscious mind. Say your goal is to lose weight. Your subconscious mind immediately takes the command and starts finding a way to meet the goal. It may direct you to make better food choices and to exercise.
Say later in the day you bash yourself for being overweight, etc. You tell yourself you can’t do it. Your mind is going to fill you with doubt. But realize you are not your mind; you are spirit. Just keep your focus.
Haven’t you heard the saying “you can’t afford one negative thought.” Well it’s true! When you have a negative thought, immediately replace it with a positive one and cancel that one out. Literally say to yourself “I cancel that thought.” The minute we are negative we sabotage our goal. When we become negative, we give our subconscious mind conflicting information. We end up not being able to manifest our heart’s desire because our subconscious mind is confused. You have to focus your attention on your goal and give your subconscious time to work it out.
Imagination is very important in the creative process. You need to use your imagination and visualize your dream often. Affirmations are very important for keeping the intention alive. Here are some examples: “I am healthy; I am radiant; I am energetic; and I see myself as my perfect weight.” For prosperity and abundance say “I am abundant, I am prosperous, and I am wealthy.” Make up your own affirmations. You just have to have faith. Matthew 17:20 says “If ye have faith…nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 9:29 “…according to your faith be it unto you.”
At this point, it is time to turn over your request to the Universe. That means to not worry about it. Just have faith in the process and wait for the results. I love this quote by William Blake: “I myself do nothing. The Holy Spirit Himself accomplishes all through me.” Remember this: Manifesting works best when you don’t have an investment in the outcome. When you feel desperate for a specific outcome you will not be able to manifest your dreams. I’ll repeat this: Belief is the currency for which you make payment. There is no desperation in belief. Belief is knowing!
The next step in manifesting your heart’s desire is the most important. You must keep it secret. Do not share with anyone! You dissipate the energy when you talk about it. Also, you give your ego time to tell you why you can’t accomplish your goal, and you also give other people the same opportunity. If, however, you have like-minded people who share your goal, then that is okay.
To recap: (1) Choose a goal, dream or miracle; (2) Give it your full intention by saying affirmations, keep positive and focused; and (3) keep it secret.
Remember this quote by Henry David Thoreau “If one advances confidently in the direction of their dreams, and endeavors to lead a life they have imagined, they will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”
